Cow Pi T-shirt - Freezer Paper Stencil

We're getting ready for Pi Day around here.  I've been wanting to make a Cow Pi shirt for a couple years and finally got around to it.

Now Seth can choose whether to wear this one or his Mud Pi shirt when we celebrate Pi-Day with his class tomorrow.

We used freezer paper again.  If you've never done freezer paper stenciling, you really should give it a  try.  You can see a full freezer paper stencil tutorial of it here.

I started this one by painting the whole thing white.
Then painted on some black spots.  I really should have waited until the white was dry, but I was impatient.
Then peeled off the freezer paper for the big reveal.

Seth loves it.

If you want to make your own, you can download the free printable Mud Pi template here.

And if you love math enough to consider making a Mud Pi shirt, you'll definitely want to enter my current giveaway for a Pi Necklace from Boutique Academia.  The giveaway is open until March 18th at 12:00am.

  2. We're having quiche (kind of a pie...) for supper tonight. Wish I had a cool pi day shirt to wear like Seth!
